6th Street Southeast Closed to Through Traffic
The Minot 31st Avenue Project kicked off earlier this month and the first phase of construction is underway. The intersection of 31st Avenue Southeast and 13th Street Southeast remains closed. The closure along 31st Avenue now extends to the east side of 10th Street Southeast. An additional closure is now in place at 6th Street Southeast from 28th Avenue to 31st Avenue Southeast.
Residents are encouraged to utilize 37th Avenue Southeast for access to and from the area off of South Broadway. 31st Avenue Southeast will remain open through 10th Street for local access. 11th, 12th, and 13th Streets will not have access directly off 31st Avenue.
The driving public should use caution and pay attention as this work continues in the area. Throughout the project, access to residents, the school, the Minot Country Club and Elevation will be maintained.
